This is a closed and un-federated XMPP server.
In order to join, you must have an invite link to open an account.
If you want an account, private message a forum moderator about it in the community forums.

After you create an account using an invitation link, you will need to log into the server using an XMPP client app.
To log in, use your username (JID) and @xmpp.metahusk.com, then use the password you used to sign up.
Note: There's no ability to recover passwords on our server. If forgot your password, you will need to contact an admin.
Example: For the Android app Conversations,
open the app and press "I already have an account".
Then enter "YOUR-USERNAME@xmpp.metahusk.com" in the "XMPP ADDRESS" box along with your password.

We don't allow any content that is illegal in the United States of America, the jurisdiction where we are located.
We don't allow pornography or piracy. There are other places for that.
We don't allow excessive uploads. Please be mindful of of our server's resources.
Even if the laws of other jurisdictions restrict certain speech, XMPP makes it impossible for us to do so. Communication between users is encrypted. We are not able to control the encrypted conversations on this server.
XMPP is an alternative to other messaging services, like Discord, which do not keep your data private.
These companies likely sell the data they mine from the messages you send.

As a community of non-belligerent game developers who do not seek conflict with any nation, creed, or people, Metahusk beleives the philosophical principles of free speech and artistic expression are values which, if restricted, will eventually stifle creativity.
Although we may have some members who hold less common views, our intent is philosophical, not political, and, as such, we want to make it clear that by running an XMPP server it doesn't mean that we hold or condone any specific political alignments or worldviews that may, or may not, be expressed by a user on the server.
